Gear up. It’s what fuels the Crankdat project to its very core and embodies what 22-year-old Christian Smith is inspiring others to do on a daily basis. In just a few years, the multi-faceted Ohio-based artist has amassed nearly a quarter of a billion total streams, toured 4 continents and has played hundreds of shows — more than a dozen of which reside in Las Vegas where he holds a Hakkasan Group residency. His originals and remixes dominate the festival circuit with heavy rinsing from Marshmello, DJ Snake, The Chainsmokers and many more. Beyond producing and DJing, though, Smith is a true creative. From designing his own artwork to animating and executing his own live show visuals, the Crankdat experience is coming from none other than the creator himself. He is the physical embodiment of what he preaches, having an independent mindset and self-starter mentality that encourages hard work, dedication and perseverance.

Hoaprox
Hoaprox (stage name of nguyen thai hoa), is the youngest winner of the remix new generation 2017 competition on national tv and with it the title of no.1 producer/dj in vietnam. his dexterity in producing across multiple electronic music genres including progressive house, future bass, trap, big room, bounce, dubstep, nu-disco and future house has given him great versatility yet he retains the artistry to make each song radiate with his charismatic style and personality. At age 14, while his peers were all playing computer games, he was already displaying his distinct individual personality by exploring music production on his computer. he then developed his talent for producing music at 15 and within 2 years, hoaprox had become a musical phenomenon in vietnam and soon his influence would spread to the rest of asia. in china, his song, ‘’ngau hung’’ soon reached iconic status in the gaming world with more than 2 billion of streams with hoaprox being ranked one of the top artists on leading chinese music streaming service, netease cloud music. Hoaprox has enriched his musical journey with releases on monstercat, universal music, spinnin records (dharma), billboard (electric asia vol 2.), techbeat records, diversity records. this resulted in collaborations with makj, nick strand, mio, rouge and dutch future house prodigy debris, an official remix for kshmr, yves v and boombox cartel. he is soon hitting the worldwide music scene with a bunch of original songs which will blow you away, as he is a relentless pursuer of the future’s hottest sound. His on stage personal feeds off his passion for music manifesting in creativity and verve coupled with an attractive performance style and mixing techniques. Hoaprox has been spreading his music outside of asia to the rest of the world.
